This is one of my son’s tricycles. When he rides it, he gets attention. It’s like tooling down the road in a ’59 Caddy. Heads turn. “Cool ride!” and “Awesome trike!” they shout from the stoops as we pass.
Problem is it’s made of steel. I can’t just pick it up and carry it, or throw it on top of the grocery cart. So the hog gets left at home, except for special occasions like ticker tape parades and Daytona Beach Trike Week.
Most of the time he rides his other trike. It’s blue and green and it’s plastic. It draws no attention whatsoever. I does however have storage space. It’s the Chevy Cavalier of tricycles.
